DIRECTING REEL

HI!

I’m a Lebanese filmmaker based in Tio'tia:ke / Montreal, and a recent graduate with a Master’s in Cinema from the University of Montreal.

My work explores the intimate relationship between the human body and the spaces it inhabits. I approach cinema through movement rather than dialogue, letting narratives emerge through gesture, rhythm, and the tension between bodies, objects, and environment. Rooted in personal experience, my films often arise from disorientation, instability, and the sense of existing in-between places.

I create from an internal landscape shaped by curiosity, cultural multiplicity, and a refusal to settle into fixed meaning. Rather than simply directing viewers toward a specific message, I invite them to experience the work through their own embodied memories. They perceive, feel, and inhabit the film’s atmosphere.

My films explore themes of intimacy, identity, and alienation. I blend intention with surrealism and theatrical movement. Through fluid uses of time and space, my filmic space becomes a site of transformation where the body can fragment, disappear, and re-emerge, inviting viewers to inhabit and sense the work through their own embodied memories.
